Course Map
Course description
The "New" (instituted for 2017 race) course maximizes the shoreline and gives runners as much time along the water as possible, while cutting the previous 4-loop course down to a 2-loop course. Runners will begin near the Colt State Park Headquarters, and run straight out towards and down Surprise Hill towards the water. You'll weave through the park's walking paths, along Narragansett Bay and Mill Gut, and then out towards the main entrance. You'll then run down the East Bay Bike Path and around Mill Pond and Bristol Harbor, towards Independence Park. Just before Independence Park in downtown Bristol, you'll turn around and run along Poppasquash Road and into the Coggeshall Farm Road entrance of Colt State Park, to begin your second loop.
Please note that there is a 3.5 hour limit on this course. Runners should only register if they know they can finish within the three and a half hour course window, per our race permits.
